SPs: how do you see clients at hotels with a key-only elevator?

On a recent business trip, I was booked at a high-end highrise hotel. In order to reach the floor where my room was, I had to use my room key card to activate the elevator. Safe and secure, yes. But the problem here is how to get an SP to do an outcall.

So ladies, how is this best handled? Meeting in the lobby is the most obvious way, but a problem there is the potential of running into colleagues and clients who are staying at the same hotel.

I have had a client leave an envelope at the front desk for me. He wrapped the card in several layers of hotel stationary so that is was undetectable. There was a note inside with the room number.

Generally speaking, when I go to a hotel, I am dressed in business attire so it doesn't raise any suspicions. I just say, "My colleague left an envelope for me here." Obviously, this method involves some level of trust.

I have also met a client at a nearby bar for a quick drink. He gave me the key and the room number. We left at different times.

The key to not raising any eyebrows is the state of dress of the SP and also walking in like you are supposed to be there. It's all in the attitude.

Just my two cents.

There are times on tour when I have had this problem.

I have my gentlemen friends call me when they arrive in the lobby, then I meet them on a different floor.

I don't get off the elevator, when the door opens, they are waiting to climb on..........

Hope this helps.

Next time you go on a convention somewhere Wolvie, get all excited about visiting your beautiful lady friend who lives there. First, you will solve your problem and also...If you do this often enough, you colleagues will think you are such a little stud muffin for having a girl in every port lol.

Use the stairs....they must be left unlocked to meet firecode compliance.
Actually, you need to be able to enter the stairwell from any floor above ground level and exit it at ground level. This does not mean that you can enter at ground level or exit at floors above ground (though more often you can).

I just go to the front desk and say it's Very Veronica the escort and i'm here to see my horny client in room such and such and they key me right in. Seriously though...it is not their job to screen your visitors but for your own sake, don't hire the local teenage pornstar.

I think most ladies will presentable enough not to illicit stares or appear to be working.

It's not as though you are going to start maulling eachother in the lobby.

Most ladies will be able to take a cue and not acknowledge you if your collegues are around and the timing is bad. As long as you both enter the same elevator, the gent can use his key card to activate the floor, and should others be in the elevator, simply walk in opposite directions when exiting.

The key at the front desk in an envelope is a classic. Quick and discreet. Even if the front desk knows what is going on, they would never comment on it at a high end hotel.

Thanks all.

In the past, I'd ask the SPs to meet me at the hotel bar and do the blind date thing, but they always insisted on meeting me at my room. So I was left with the impression that was SOP.

But on the other hand, every hotel I've stayed at until recently had free-access elevators. And I'm assuming that most SPs in any given city will know which hotels have card-key elevators and which ones don't, and will already know of the best contingency methods of meeting. Or in some cases, they simply refuse to see clients at hotels with card-key elevators.

There are lots of ways around this - many have been outline here. I stay in a top hotel in Vancouver where you need a key card to access the elevator and where you can enter the stairwell at any floor but you can't get out of the stairwell until you get to the ground level unless you have a key card to open the door. And yes that does meet all fire codes.

Here's the drill - if you've called an agency you've given your name and room number to the phone gal - tell her that you're in a hotel with restricted elevators, she will then phone you as soon as your special visitor arrives in the lobby and you nip down the elevator, the door opens and on she comes and you're on the way to fun and frivolity in your room.

Now, if you are REALLY, REALLY worried about being seen, simply book another room in another hotel purely for the purpose of the hobby, the SP won't care and you're friends won't see you or go to one of the fine in-call locations that abound in the the area....

That's it...
