So i got pulled over tonight for talking to a SW. The cops stopped me and issued me a ticket for failing to stop at a stop sign. But he told me he knows the reason why i'm cruising in the area during this hour. Do you think the cops will send me a letter or something like that about how i'm talking to SW on the streets. I'm just concerned b/c someone in my family might read the letter if i do receive one.

I dont think that the cops will be sending you a letter to that effect. They just said as a scare tactic. How do they know if you were talking to them for sex or just to ask directions. If you do get a letter to that effect you can always sue them for defimation of your character as they do not have any real evidence that you talked to a SW for sexual purposes. If they did you would have been charged as such.

The letter comes in a plain brown envelope. I got one about 3yrs ago when I was caught in the back seat with a chick in a empty parkinglot. The letter basicaly outlines the risk of STD's and that "I'm" not helping the hooker problem go away.
If your family opens mail addressed to you on a regular basis all I can say is "LUCY YOU GOT SOME SPLAINING TO DO!!"
Can't be all hanging around the curb for 2, or 3 min talking business. Tell her to get in and go around the block.
Don't sue anybody anytime as far as the cops go!!!!!!!! If you cruise regularly the cops will single you out as a trouble maker and make your cruising life hell down there.
When your down there just remember your invisible. You don't bother no one, don't no one bother you.

You are right in your methods and ideas. Poorman was concerned about getting a letter sent to his house and having someone in his family finding out about his hobby. The reason why I said that he can sue the cops is to ease his concern about getting such a letter.

It was not official so I doubt he would get a letter sent to him about his cruising habits. The cops are not about to open an unsubstantated can of worms without proper evidence. For example, getting caught with your pants down (LOL...) or propositioning an undercover cop.
As for everyone else....well you are all right too... by not drawing attention to yourself the cops have no reason to stop you.

Dont loose sleep over it dude.. What time was the ticket given at ? b/c you could make an easy alibi now..that you were in the area doing something else.. if the letter ever does come..which it shouldnt ..but this way yoru ass is covered.. and be open about your stop sign ticket ...

Yep just pay the ticket right away (or you will definitely get a notice) and you will hear nothing more.

If you do get stopped follow orders and listen attentively. And when you are released, drive towards home. Also try not to go down to the same track for a while. That way you probably won't bump into the officer who stopped you. At least this has worked for me. Or at least don't go in the middle of the night.
As for a good reason to be down there. I really don't think LE gives a damn. I've been in the tracks for legitimate reasons and because I'm a single male they give me dirty looks or follow me. Any legit business down there must have a really difficult time, not only the drugs but LE is scaring off customers.
As for the hot young blonde officers. I've seen a few that were very attractive. On one sunny afternoon, I was having a meal in a restaurant near the track. In the restaurant, there was a young couple sitting in the window booth. They looked out of place, a little too well groomed for the area. She was blonde and very attractive. After a few minutes I noticed the radio and a few minutes later they got a signal ran outside and caught some guy.
Chuck your pics are nice but nothing compared to the blonde officer I saw that afternoon.
Just a warning, there is lots of LE out there.
If you do get stopped follow orders and listen attentively. And when you are released, drive towards home. Also try not to go down to the same track for a while. That way you probably won't bump into the officer who stopped you. At least this has worked for me. Or at least don't go in the middle of the night.

If you're worried about getting mail from the cops to your house, just get a mailbox and go to Canada Post and ask them to forward your mail to it for awhile. That would take care of matters.
It is definately a good idea to obey all traffic laws and make sure your vehicle is in good mechanical condition. However even if you obey all the rules the cops may still find some reason to hassle you. A few years ago on the track I was pulled over and carefully scutinized even though I hadn't done anything wrong.
