There has been some intrest in Slave Lake and drayton Valley. Have had a few calls from clients working there. I know there is no agency there and spent a good part of the day finding out about the yellow pages, licence ectra. Need your guys imput seeing I have not been there in awhile and have no clue on how the town has changed.
Would this go over in your opinion? I hear it booming from the mills extra. Anyone with any advice please feel free to email me.

DV is booming, oilfield, the mill, and construction (new Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire) Definately no agencies there, not sure of the market though its a small town, and not much goes not without everybody knowing about it.

If you are looking to expand maybe Grande Prairie? doesn't seem like much for GOOD agencies here.

I have heard GP is a good place to go. I was thinking a MP there! As far as I knew there were more agencies than were needed there. I was open in fort st john for awhile but I found that the other agencies were going out so cheap it wasnt really worth the girls time.

Drayton Valley is only about an hour and a half out of Edmonton, so I think the guys out there would be motoring into the big city for their pooning. Grande Prairie and Slave Lake are in the middle of sweet f.a., so you might do better in those places.

Here's an idea...why don't you start up a mobile MP/escort service? Turn a trailer or an RV into a mobile incall studio, then you and the girls hit the road and travel around to the Slave Lakes and the Peace Rivers and the Cold Lakes.

Thanks Oilman! I just got off the phone with the city and with the local RCMP there... Sounds like this could be promising. Any location there you think would do well.
I owe ya one! This is sounding promising.

Slave Lake has nothing for service. It's hard to say how much demand there will be from the locals?? Go to the peelers and we are lucky to get 5 people in to watch the ballet. Winter time like every other small northern town it gets busy with the oil patch.

Slave Lake also has strong religous groups so i'm unsure how much grief they might give you.

I would love to see you set up in Slave Lake but personally I think you would find it difficult to keep busy year round. If you could target certain busy months, business would be great for you.

Slave Lake Paper

That's my opinion;)
