Hi everyone. Thank you for your posts. I have lurked for a long time and have not had the opportunity to contribute to the community but when I have something to report, I will.

I was thinking of seeing an SP who caught my eye but has not yet been reviewed. There have been a couple of requests for info posted by others in this section but no one seems to have anything to report.

Is it risky to see an SP who hasn't been reviewed? Is this something that I should be hightly suspicious of or am I worrying about it all too much?

Thanks for your help!

Doing a review on a provider with no reviews, and whom people have requesting info on in 411 is a good way to go about it.

It's called TOFTT

People who tend to do this are normally okay with possibly having a meh session and writing off $ as a loss, or like the adventure of possibly finding a gem.

The risk is minimal. Of course there is always the chance of ripoff or a bad session but that is something we all learn to deal with in this hobby. Trust your instincts and you will be fine.

For myself and many others here a large part of the thrill is venturing into uncharted territory. You never know what you might find.

I look forward to reading your review :thumb:

If you're nervous about whether or not you'd enjoy your time with her, why not try talking to her a bit on the phone or by email? Start off by telling her you're interested in booking an appointment, but you have a couple of questions first. Then see how she responds to your information request. If she comes across as good-natured and happy to answer your questions, I would take that as a good sign. If she's irritable, tries to end the conversation quickly, or doesn't seem friendly, then frankly, I would have doubts about her performance in a session.

Good luck!

because you are a first time poster, i'll explain that what he means is Taking One For The Team

this is very very good advice when investigating a non-reviewed sp. a willingness to engage in conversation - whether by telephone or by email - is a good sign of a friendly person, and friendliness is a good sign of good attitude, and good attitude is absolutely critical in this business

like Cookie&Valium say, trust your instincts....how does she sound
on the phone?of course,it could be a phone girl doing bookings, but
if it's the SP&she's friendly&not rushing the call,a good sign,imo.

Especially trust your visual instincts.....if she's nowhere near the photo
and way older than advertised......walk.
Easy enough to show the ad&say that is who you came to see, without
being confrontational.

Personally,I KNOW it's not going to be the girl in the ad...all I'm
hoping for is a reasonable facsimile and a welcoming manner.

If she seems robotic in the greeting, you'll almost for sure get
robotic service and it's better to walk, even if she's eye candy, which,
I know,is easier said than done.

So,Mark, you really don't have anything to lose except some time.
Take a plunge,lol.

Wow. Thank you everyone for your well considered responses to my post! As as someone with zero experience, I want to thank you for helping turn some of the nervousness into excitement.

I will let you all know as soon as I have something to share.

Thanks again!

Dude - if this is your first experience ever, do not TOFTT. Go for someone well-reviewed, like Holly. There are a lot of scammers on ERS and the other sites and you don't want your first experience to suck. Number one rule of thumb, if the advertiser is impossibly hot, it is impossible that it is a real pic, unless backed up by a review or at least a website.

Cheers and tell us how it goes!
