Fake Pic, Fake person

This girl and her pics are a trap for city of Coquitlam Police Dept.
She asks for your pic, gets you to send emails to collect evidence. You get arrested for soliciting prostitution.

NOT WORTH IT UNLESS YOU WANT A TRIP TO THE POLICE STATION.
Be careful out there guys.

Do they actually do this?

Last time I checked they were RCMP out there not city cops. I doubt that the rc's are that stupid, sending your picture is no crime, neither is engaging in fantasy writing on the internet.

It is a crime to communicate in a public place for the purposes of prostitution. I don't see how private communications between two people via email could possibly fall within this section of the Criminal Code.

A client who privately seeks the services of an SP commits no crime. "Keeping a common bawdy house" is prohibited in the Code, but rarely enforced unless there are complaints. Outcall services between a client and an SP and client are perfectly legal. An escort service operator, however, could contravene the provisions against "living off the avails of prostitution".
