Recall Pooning in 2008 Recession?

I wonder how todays’s rising interest rates and looming recession will affect the sex trade. Will we see more SWs enter the market for extra income? More scams? Price changes? Fewer pooners? What’s your prognostication? How are you affected?

I’d particularly like to hear from pooners who lived through this in 2008.

Scamming aside as scamming back in the day was a lot more in your face so to speak.
Be it in this decade, the one just past, the one before that, and before that and so on.
My experience is there were, are and will be SP's and civilian women alike available for pooning.
The looks change, prices change, the places we poon in change but great sex is great sex and it will always be there.

I agree. During that recession, prices dropped and some indies offered discounts from their usual prices. From my experience, service levels were, in general, better in 2008 than now. But that's a whole other thread LOL.

During the 2008 recession, I remember, not all, but some ladies offered weekly and monthly specials, discounts after a certain amount of visits etc. AND...some ladies would private message you some deals they were offering. Yes, I, personally, have had that happen. But, back then, different times and things seemed to be much more relaxed and easy going. Today, some seem so " snarky " with an attitude and in some cases, not so " board social friendly " . More on edge I would say. Maybe those are today's times that we're in. Who knows. Anyway.....

Back when rent was$700/month and gas was under a buck a liter. Good times. An hour with an sp could be as low as $130/ hr. I saw one beautiful blonde on the Gorge for $130, she looked like Dorothy Stratton, she was a gem 💎

Sat on her couch drinking a pepsi with her, shooting the breeze.
If I was there before the sp Rikki would just tell me the door code, and i let myself in, sat and relaxed, read a magazine for a bit. The good old days, and not once was I told no DFK, no swallowing, no msog, never asked if i was going to cum soon, or a single word of complaint.

Victoria, early 90s, Nanaimo late 80s,Vancouver early 80s. Different pooning world back then. Probably 95% of the women didn't even kiss back then. I was always taught to save some money for rainy days and live within my means at a very young age. But people now likes to show off on social media even though they can't afford it.
