Recall Pooning in 2008 Recession?

I wonder how todays’s rising interest rates and looming recession will affect the sex trade. Will we see more SWs enter the market for extra income? More scams? Price changes? Fewer pooners? What’s your prognostication? How are you affected?

I’d particularly like to hear from pooners who lived through this in 2008.

That was the year I started as an escort , I think the only way I was able to make a decent living was being “fresh meat “ but like now , when you’re successful it makes you a huge target for bullying , fake bookings etc from angry fellow less popular/desirable ladies , it’s a vicious industry . Save your money & buy real estate cause nothing is guaranteed. 😊but it’s been a fun ride .

Totally agree , she was very generous to me over the years with allowing me to stay indy and rent work space off her , I loved sitting in her office with her pup & chatting about her life experiences 🥰

Idk how it was in 2008 but lemme tell yaaa we’re in for a recession sooner than you might be thinking… it’s best to save up right now I’d say.. I spend a lot of time talking to my family in the banking/ finance industry and that’s what they’ve told me. Only time will tell truly but like buddy said you should have money saved for the rainy days.

I've definitely changed my habits up.... Was way more careless with extra money, seeing a lady every other day.... Now once every 2 weeks

Victoria, early 90s, Nanaimo late 80s,Vancouver early 80s. Different pooning world back then. Probably 95% of the women didn't even kiss back then.
