TOFTT is checking in to see if anyone has heard a word about the line up at The Gentlemens Club

Rumor has it this is the long awaited "High End" studio that is finally opening up this Thursday

With a location on Rice Howard Way, looks like Penthouse and Sinderella's may have a bit of competition on the way

Rice Howard Way is not the most discreet place for an MP, with all the restaurants, bars and busy office towers.

Last time TOFTT heard about the place was in late December, early January with a late january opening, so they are a wee bit behind

Supposed to be on the 4th floor of a building on Rice Howard Way and about 101a Avenue

This was supposed to be that "high end" studio with a pool table in the reception areas (with receptionist) and "high end" pricing too

Had heard a couple of names mentioned back then, but nothing since

I suspect Trawler may have an idea or two to share with the class

TOFTT's scouting report

TOFTT made the trek to the 'Mens Club" earlier today.

The entrance is on west side of 100A Street just south (across the alley) from the Bank Of Montreal Main branch.

There is a green sign with white lettering, just go in and turn left. NO, you didn't walk into a kitchen, there is actually an elevator on your left hand side, no stairs either (which may be a good thing)

WARNING the elevator does not exactly level up with the floor, so you may be taking a step up or down, you've been warned

The elevator is a hole/pit, but do not be detered brother pooners. Turn around and wait until you reach the 4th floor (watch your step again)

WOW, what a reception area, red leather couches, hard wood floors, fake marble, crown moldings, really well done, and just wait until they finish!

4 really nice rooms rooms: asian (w/whirlpool), executive (with bed), mirror (w/mirrors) and dom room (standard table).

Not too much to say, briefly met a "Betty", blonde, 5'8", nice face, great rack, bit larger from the wasit down, but she was on her way into an appointment, so no information re: rates or other girls available etc.

TOFTT is not a fan of the 1 entrance and only via the elevator too, parking could be an issue or rather pricy being down town.

Once again I fail to see why you'd select a place for your MP that has NO PARKING and relatively little privacy.

Beats all hell outta TOFTT too.

There are a few parkades around, but the entrance leaves a LOT to be desired (kinda leery about walking past that alley in the dark).

Thought TOFTT had walked into the kitchen at first until turning left to leave and VOILA, and elevator, not much of one though.

Past that, really a nice place inside!

Yes, the interior of the Real Men's Club is very nice, but the elevator has gotta go. New elevator needed. Any businessman walking in there and seeing that elevator will turn around and walk out.

My experience in Edmonton was okay, but Edmonton is way behind Vancouver is luxury. The Real Men's Club may be high-end by Edmonton standards, but it's nothing like Swedish Touch here in downtown Vancouver, or Madame Cleos in Vancouver where you walk in between 4-6 pm and are greeted by a lobby full of 15 to 20 girls in bikinis.

But yes, Betty is the blonde at Real Men's Club and she is beautiful and friendly.

Betty is the type you see here in downtown Vancouver.

I find Penthouse Massage and Sinderellas to be something like in quality what you'd get in the suburbs around Vancouver, like Surrey.

Vancouver is a cosmopolitan centre, one of the truly international cities of the world, and is home to millions of people. Edmonton is a regional city of under 700,000 mostly blue collar people, whose idea of international is ordering Lydo, drunk, at 2:00AM...
There are not enough serious pooners here to support a Madame Cleo's, and our Swedish Touch you don't even wish to see.
That said, while the establishments themselves are not up to that standard, I will say that the service here is superior to anything I have encountered in Vancouver, Montreal, Bankok, and Amsterdam. (oddly, I have never pooned in Calgary...go figure...)
I don't go to an MP for the decor or the couches. I go for the ladies, and gems are to be had in the strangest places.
(none of this means I won't be Back to Madame Cleo's on my next Van trip... )

How does Manhatten Men's Club compare to the Vancouver studios? I know that MMC was striving for that similar quality.

But like Pan said, the real quality is in the girls themselves, not the esthetics of the studios.

Vancouver way more expensive

Vanboy, before you start trying to peddle your Westjet flights to Van, it has to be stated that the cost of the MPs in Van is WAY higher in Van than Edmonton and although there are some beautiful women in the high end studios in Van, remember that the cost is $$$$-$$$$$. basically almost twice the cost here.

i guarantee that the women are not TWICE as hot (can't say about current levels of service in Van). so dollar for dollar, your paying more for some hotties in Van, but it would be up to each consumer to determine if the value was there.

it's because of the licensing

I think the reason why Edmonton doesn't have the high end ladies Vancouver has (Betty at Mens Club is the only exception) is because of the requirement to have a reflexology license in Edmonton. Apparently, the license the Edmonton girl needs costs $ 60/year. Girls in Vancouver don't need a license. At Madame Cleos here they get 4 hours of training, then they can work in the rooms.

The fact that Vancouver doesn't require licensing of staff makes working in a Vancouver MP a more attractive option in Vancouver, and probably entices more pretty girls to work here.

If Vancouver had the rules Edmonton has, things may be different here.

Vancouver vs Edmonton ...

trust an Old but very active Pooner who has sampled both markets for years. The following generalizations are accurate:

1. There are more Escorts in Vancouver than Edmonton and generally they are Hotter but 2X or 3X the price. Their additional price is seldom worth paying in my view because Looks is not as important as Attitude and Service which is very high among our few Girls.

2. Vancouver has no more MP's than Edmonton. The top three (3) are very over-priced and the Digs are no better than the likes of Penthouse, ManHattan Mens Club and the new Supreme. Personally, I rate Digs low in the scale of importance once the place is clean and comfortable. Once again the price is 3X higher in the highend clubs and 2X higher in the low end clubs. No way is the price increase worth the differential for Girl's Looks or the Attitude/Service that is provided. Many Vancouver Girls have worked here and they simply fit in as one of the Pack. They do not stand out.

IMHO, I would chose our well reviewed Gals with their reasonable pricing over any place in North America. Sure there are some more stunning Gals in the larger centres but Looks is not the decider for this Pooner.

We are still the City of Champions - The MP Mecca of the North - when it comes to SP's @ the MP and the value for your Dollar.

We rank very low in the Escort arena, but it is very well compensated for between the hours of 10 AM and 11 PM at the MP. The Escort Mecca is Montreal first, Toronto second and then Vancouver.

What do u mean by high end??? I beg to differ. I have pretty high standards when it comes to looks... I don't see anyone that is not younger than 25 (for the most part), and exceptionally pretty. I don't have a problem finding gorgeous sps. there are lots of REALLY attractive woman out there. Maybe not in terms of price, but they are high quality i tell you that.... 100%.

VANBOY... no offense...your comments are way off. You ask about 50 million questions and now you talk like you know the scene... i don't think u know enough to say anything... We do have tonnes fo pretty ladies here.

Try sinderellas, go see lauren. She is hot. Stacey is hot there, crystal is fine there.... honey is fine....

Go to penthouse quite a few hotties there, same with mmc and supreme...

If you go to the lower end studios no, the talent isn't there... but i guarantee you at those 4 studios the quality is very high.


I haven't met betty but i doubt she is the top fo the class!
