An interesting read....funny enough...for the guy that made Playboy seem boring....the Playboy empire is still going and ol Hef is still alive...I guess Hef lost a battle but won the war.

My teenage Penthouse Wallpapered Centerfold bedroom was a great place to calm down and relax. I would even find my dad checking it out from time to time, lol.

RIP to a staunch supporter of the Free Speech Coalition. A hedonist who enjoyed life and women the same way Hugh Hefner did but under the radar. Bob Guccione, Larry Flynt, and Hugh Hefner were all talented geniuses who made a difference in the world of adult entertainment with the latter as its icon. The funny thing is Friendfinder already owns Penthouse now and persistently pursuing Playboy as well. While Hugh Hefner is trying his best to bring his publicly-listed Playboy private. One day I foresee both companies being under one holding company but with the same independence as with present time.
Penthouse and Playboy has a certain look when it comes to their Playmates or Pets. Even with print circulation way down from years back, thousands of girls are still vying to appear in the magazines that brought about the adult entertainment to its pinnacle. Like Penthouse Magazine alone, will only be able to give 48 aspiring beauties a break to potential stardom annually.
The Caligula of Manhattan will always be missed.
