pics

How can you post a pic when the byte limit is so small and all the pics are so much bigger? I dont get it, alot of the ones I see on here are way over 1000 or so bytes...??

You don't upload an image to the site but you hyperlink in an image.
Find a image you want to share on the web. Right click on it and choose an option like "Copy image address". When you want to post it here click on the IMG tab in the vB Code bar and paste in your image address.

I suggest using the Preview Reply button to make sure it works, and the "reload" button in your browser to make sure the site that is hosting the image allows remote linking. Then choose "submit reply".

Ok its not a link, but I have seen other pics posted without links ect....jokes yadda...

If you have a pic on you computer and it's not porn you can try a free hosting site like http://www.imageshack.us/ and use the hyperlinks they provide.

Ok I am geting the hang of it and I read over it, how do I just have the pic show up instead of people having to go to a URL? Or do I have to read closer...lol

To post a link to a picture use the http tab: http://www.google.com/images/logo.gif

To have the picture show up use the IMG tab:
