Tonight is the 50th anniversary of the Edmund Fitzgerald sinking with all hands in Lake Superior at 7:15 PM. Thanks to Gordon Lightfoot’s song it won’t be forgotten. Interesting at the anniversary of the sinking by the families after his passing the ships bell was rung 30 times instead of 29 to thank him for keeping the memories alive.

Rest in peace to the 29, and +1 for one of the greatest songwriters of all time. That song is a masterpiece.
