My Two Cents on Reviews

Always take reviews with a grain of salt.. I have learned recently after a friend of mine had a terrible review on her, that some guys seek revenge if they don't get what they want by leaving bad reviews. This gent was insisting on taking a trip to the Greek Islands after my friend had already said 'no' and insisted that he could not pay the full amount and ended up leaving. Interestingly enough, this arsehole had two positive references from providers which I am totally uncertain how that was possible except that maybe they were willing to take a trip to the Mediterranean. Long story short, Mr. arsehole left a very obvious fake review on TER, which ended up being a pain in the ass to get deleted.

I have been lucky enough to not encounter such dicks, but this situation offers some good advice to everyone (both clients and companions) ...Always read these reviews with some criticism and analysis. IS the writing quality poor? Shitty grammar, bad language and the sort. I have to admit I really don'tlike over the top gory details about whatever actions took place. It's really tasteless and comes across completely disrespectful. I am not sure if some reviewers understand that they jeopardise the providers' safety and autonomy when they mention particular acts. The SP should be able to choose what she does and doesn't do. Reviewers also need to understand that by leaving a shitty review for reasons like the arsehole mentioned above, is that you conflict with her livelihood. If you have a bad meeting, maybe ask yourself whether you guys were a good match or not.

I am not saying that bad reviews should never be posted. Sometimes the bad reviews are totally legitimate. But I would advise in reading them with some care and consideration as to the kind of guy writing them.

Anyways, that's my rant for the day! Let's keep the hobby world positive!

The reality is a false review from a disgruntled customer is usually balanced by many good reviews from happy customers. In fact I know some reviewers who come to the rescue of a SP by dispelling or countering the bad review when they have truly been happy with the service someone has provided. I always wonder though about the girls who are afraid of the bad reviews and insist they be removed or that they not be reviewed at all.

A lot of firms lobby for good reviews regarding their film, video game, music album, etc. Perhaps if more SPs would "lobby" for a good review and provide a top notch no surprises experience then nothing like this would ever happen. Perhaps your friend should explicitly have put on her website that greek is not an option so that guy would have never contacted her in the first place. If you are being as escort as a career then strive to be as professional and lively as possible, if not then it might be time for a career change,. I know plenty of SPs who have some major-ish restrictions but get plenty of positive reviews because of their professionalism and attitude. Hell Lucy Lake doesnt offer greek and has 2 positive reviews posted every single week so I can't see not letting a guy do anal on you warranting a nasty review. Just my 2 cents.

This why i gave up on reviens. If You give a good one people Say You are making it up if You give a Bad one the SP and her community attack You. So no Win situation unless It Is a terrible experience like Pam was for me or a super amazing one like with Catherine. I still get flack on them. So i guess it Is every man for himself. Good Luck boys.

I think the key with any review is to read many of them and read between the lines. The more you read, especially in the beginning, the more you will understand if the SP is the right one for you. I find that if a SP has 2-4 reviews, you can get an idea of what she is all about pretty quickly. If you read only one review on an SP, try to invision if it appears accurate. If it sounds like BS, it probably is. That's what I call reading between the lines- looking for clues of a bad attitude or a blatant shill. When in doubt, ask a question to the OP.

A single review is nothing, a reputation is based on many reviews over time.

Most readers have an idea of which posters are reliable and which ones are wacko. Shills are easy to spot too.

YMMV always remains true though, not everyone will get along with everyone else.

Reviews are gold. You need to understand how to interpret and clarify but the insights help tremendously in choosing among scores of providers.

The SP should be able to choose what she does and doesn't do.
Of course, the SP always chooses what services she provides.

Negative reviews based on a non-connect are usually obvious as are those which are just a dump on the SP, for whatever reason.
Experienced pooners easily sniff these ones out.
A non-connect is a fair review. It doesn't mean that another pooner may have different mileage.
A dump review is usually ignored by regular Perberts and is often countered by positive posts by other reviewers.

Obvious shill threads stand out and work against the SP, who needs fake self-promotion to rake in a customer or few.

The style and content of a review often display much about the pooner.... mature, immature, older, younger, sexual approach, etc.

I do think that most board readers know which posters are consistent in their review approach, taste, experience sought, etc. and rely on those more than others.

What he said, for sure!
I've never understood the DNR, and will therefore not see any SP who makes this request.
It is their business and their right, I suppose, I just don't agree with it.

The best reviews are those that give a girl 10's for service but very lacking in details. You know that the guy for some reason decided to post it despite knowing the girl's a gem and would otherwise keep her to himself. If the idiots who shilled (yes, they are idiots) would know a thing or two, then it would be to imitate exactly that which I described.

It seems to be really only perb guys that even know what a dnr is. or who is dnr for that matter. Maybe that means those are the clients she is trying top avoid? Just throwing that out there I could be totally wrong.
Not sure what you mean here travellor. Perb guys "are the clients she is trying to avoid" because we know what a DNR is ? I don't get it. I'm sure I've misunderstood your point.

I am just saying not everyone is interested in having their paid sexual encounter reviewed so the best way to do that would be to not see the guys who write reviews. Did I explain that better. ;)

edit: This thread is called "My two cents on reviews", so this is mine.
Explanation clear- thanks travellor- you make a valid point.
Would kind of cut into her market, though, I'm quite sure- eliminating the reviewers from her clientele?
Good reviews, and reviews in general, keep an SPs name out there, so business should stay steady or improve.
Shit reviews can definitely impact business negatively as well.
It works both ways, fairly or unfairly.
Keep in mind that many of the SPs are paid advertisers on a REVIEW BOARD. :)

Yup, for me too. DNR sp's to me in my most humble opinion are to be avoided...it just seems sketchy to me. I can understand the not liking the play by play descriptions, etc, but wouldn't it be also a good tool to evaluate the service quality that said sp's are providing? Such as personality, friendliness...is it a pigsty or a palace? Was it rushed, relaxed or ?? Granted the ladies demand in some cases a lot of dough to get your cake and eat it, but wouldn't you like to know if the cake is well baked rather than half?

I understand there's a good reason in some cases...but in my humblest of humble opinions...the DNR sp is too much of a risk.

DNR definitely raises suspicion. This is a review board isn't it? Thats why i joined. To try and sort out the good from the bad. They don't need to include every intimate detail but its nice to know who's legit and who's not. Does she try to provide the best experience possible or just in it for a quick buck.
All i really need to know is if she's friendly, interested, interactive, as advertised and enjoys what she does. If there's any attitude, detachment, rushing, hygiene issues, fake pics or not as advertised il pass.
I didn't use to review, now i've done some mini reviews to try and cover the points above. I started because of a string of disappointments, trying to help others avoid a similar fate, and hoped to get some intel in return. This is an expensive hobby and i hate being mislead or lied to.
And after telling a lady afterwards about what an incredible experience she provided for me she asked me if i would consider writing a review.
Thats my two cents

You are very very right about the issue of false bad reviews. It should be pointed out the the ''powers that be'' that if enough scrutiny was put on bad reviews that there is put on good reviews, then there would be far less drama and far less damage
