It is so sad that such a talented individual who is making millions of dollars would resort to this. Hopefully it is untrue but the evidence is so much against Michael Vick that he'll probably be doing some jail time, and here's a guy who the Atlanta Falcons chose with the 1st pick in the 2001 NFL draft to be the face of their franchise. If he is proven to be guilty of these charges, he should be blackballed from the NFL.

Reports are that the house that was used for dogfighting was owned by Michael Vick, and that he was there numerous times and had knowledge of it, and bet tens of thousands of dollars, and was or saw the deaths of many dogs, didn't hear if Vick killed any dogs but the remains were found on the property of like 51 dogs, sick!
I remembered when Q Woods from the portland trailblazer did the exact same thing...

If the Falcons were smart, they'd suspend him first. Under new NFL rules, the teams are now liable for the conduct of their players and are also subject to fines.

I'm probably the biggest NFL fan in all of BC and this downright sickens me. Vick is a sad excuse of a human being. He killed dogs by shooting them, drowning them, and beating them. I really hope he faces jail time. He makes me sick and he is an overrated player who will never win.

Some pull sleds some catch crooks and some fight.....when we impose human attributes onto animals we demean ourselves and the creatures. Would I get into dog fighting? NO of course not. Do I hunt...You bet. I think people who grow up in the city have a very different viewpoint than those who have lived rurally and understand that animals are tools and property not our friends and loved ones.

Godfearsme you're subhuman. I dont think you've ever had a pet nor should you ever be allowed near one. There is absolutely no excuse for humans to treat an animal this way just for entertainment purposes. There are many States and Countries that monitor people who are involved in this kind of behaviour as they are a high risk of being serial killers and child molesters. In fact youth criminal records are not expunged in lots of areas for people convicted of animal torture because studies have shown direct links between that and psyco. antisocial behaviour.

For the record my 20 lb shitzu bichon is a bigger asshole than all Pits/staffies I've ever met. It all comes down to the person or asshole that keeps them. Unfortunately Pits have typically been "owned" by the lowest common denominator in civilized society, whether its a guy with a small dick and big muscles or a drug dealer of some sort. Having said that I know a dealer that has a pit that's one of the nicest dogs I've ever met.
