You said you don't want to come across as trying to negotiate so you may want to try to be more consistent in your posts.

To be consistent, if Julia's rate is $350 for the hour then you originally offered to pay 1/2 of that or $175 (or 3/4 of that or $263). Now you are offering only $125, or 35%.

You can probably get the price down further if you offer to let them drive your black 911 Porsche Turbo (or whatever you said you had) for the same length of time.

If someone doesn't take you up on your offer soon, will this get to the point where they'll have to pay you to attend to watch?

Actually, if this is where the thread is heading then let me be the first to chime in and say that if someone wants to pay me to watch them then I'm available. Price will depend on what the two of you look like and on your performance. I will even make and bring along some Olympic type score cards and hold them up from time to time to let you know how you're doing.
