Here's a novel concept that should avert many of the review problems we have had in the past...
Let's call it the two basic Rules of Engagement!
Rule No. 1 - Only the reviewer can make negative comments or references or follow-up remarks about the subject SP, as long as they follow a modicum of respect. Of course, this would only apply to genuine reviews. All phony reviews, please Exit Stage Left, once they are determined to be so.
Rule No. 2 - Any or all comments regarding the reviewer's post by other posters, should be restricted to positive or objective remarks. All negative remarks should be deleted forthwith. After all, what do they really add to the review but fuel controversy?
This should eliminate most flame wars...
I don't think this is asking for much, and should pay tribute to both the SP and the reviewer in question.
