I encourage everybody to register for the vaccine. Accepting 18 and above as of today.

I was told they have us in the system now and we will get a text message when we are able to register for the second shot.

This is from the BC Covid Website
Getting your second dose

Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and COVISHIELD COVID-19 vaccines require two doses. It is important to get both doses for long-term protection.

People who get their first vaccine dose will be notified by email, text or phone call when they are eligible to book an appointment for their second dose.

Please make sure you are registered with the Get Vaccinated system. If you received your first dose and have not yet registered, do so now to receive a notification to book your second dose.

So it is not very clear, but I erred on the side of caution and registered for my second Pfizer dose.

I also erred on the side of caution ,like Robert, and re-registered for my second Pfizer shot today..I got a new registration number and just have to wait for the invitation. I think you might have to wait a little to re-egister again as I tried to register my SO too, but because she has only 2 weeks from her 1st shot, the system would not allow a new registration. I hope this intel helps.

Before you decide to take shot, and I understand it is too late for some. 1) Ask to look at the insert before you get injected. 2) Check with your insurance company to make sure you are still going to be covered should you be injured, or worse.
I would love to see your source for this misinformation. Because the truth says otherwise.

I could do this all day. Before spewing misinformation, do your homework. Also if you are not vaccinated they are drafting rules around the world to deny access to travel, restaurants, movie theatres ......etc
