Who are the fuckers who spray graffiti like piss to mark their territory? The amount of time and money wasted to clean it up is astounding. Personally I have to paint ov er their crap at least once a month on fences and buildings as well as bins. I'd like to catch one of the assholes in the process and show him how much I love and forgive him - then show how hard it is to push a spray can button with broken fingers.

I've wanted to spray them with a skunk smell that would take at least a week to wear off. But try catching the little bastards.

Ya they got the back of my Mom's garage a couple of times, luckily just with a marker that I was able to scrub out. Public property is bad enough, but a person's private property?? Personally, if I caught some puck doing this, well lets just say he'd learn to never, ever, do it again.

graffiti when done in the right setting can be a very beautiful art form. i don't see much problem with it being in alleys or somewhere public where it has actually been commissioned by the city or property owner. but i gotta agree with you about it on private property and visable public property.

I agree that some of it is amazing. But the same jerks that put there name on everything (gee, that's original) also write over the really good stuff.

I saw some kid doing this one night but he was in a group of 10 people who were probably armed so I didn't say anything. Had I phone and weren't on the way to work I might have called 911 and followed them.

White shellac works on just about anything as an undercoat but Kilz, which is easier to handle, also works for some of it in my experience. I know that the subways in NY are coated with some kind of plastic that doesn't allow the paint to stick. Though some of the old NY subway cars when I was there in 1987 were amazing.

Overall the best graffiti I've seen was in Paris. It wasn't anything like the freestyle stuff you see here.

IMO nothing makes the area look more like a fukkin slum that graffiti on shit. I mean don't these fukktards see how nice things can look.

Guess I'm at the age where I just don't "get it" any more.
