I am a somewhat new person here. I had a long appointment booked (3hr) with a lady that I have seen before. It was booked for the 30t.
Today I was feeling under the weather and was covid tested and sure enough… I’m positive.
I contacted her immediately and asked to postpone our meeting.
I’m not exactly sure when it would be appropriate to request a rebooking. I was told to self-isolate for 5 days. I feel that at least a week after that would be the minimum before socializing.
What are most people comfortable with in a case like this?

Check your closet..:)
I don't think that we are allowed to give any type of medical advice here.
Seek medical advice from your doctor.

Our old dog was really sick with no chance of getting better.... my dad took him behind the barn and shot him.
Just saying

It wasn’t really medical advice I was looking for. I just wanted to get a feel for the comfort level of people socializing with someone who just had Covid. I wanted to know how long would seem reasonable.

Follow the guidelines, or get a negative test to be sure. This is not the place to get this advice. I can tell you I would not want to be around you for at least 2 weeks and a negative test would help. Thread closed before this gets out of hand.
