Flowers for Valentines

FLOWERS ARE HORRIBLE!!! lol
i have no interest in them, i find it to be a waste of money and i am never home enough to enjoy them... I always end up bringing them to my sister lol...

I love flowers 
I always have them in my home, and a huuuggee vase of dead roses. But really I think people should enjoy any gift that is received!
Im doing wine and fondue on VD for my single friends and myself! ANd maybe some guitar hero to be extra romantical

I've noticed a lot of gals who live in Alberta like Merlot.
Personally, the only time I can drink it is when I am eating a steak. I find a bite of steak and some merlot to go with it, makes a pleasant flavor in the mouth.
Any portuguese red, cotes du rhone, or pinot noir for just general sipping is my preference. Pinot Grigio for a white wine, Fetzer makes a good one.

I like to buy flowers at other times of the year besides Valentines Day. It just leaves a sour taste in my mouth when they charge you 3 or 4 times as much for the same flowers just because it's V-Day.

I have to agree with you AmazonBarbie. I'm not a big fan of flowers either... they just end up dying anyways. lol!
I adore flowers, and occasionally buy them for myself to brighten up my apartment! Last yr i got my favorite flowers and a box of chocolates. with nuts in them. from a guy I dated for a year. A year and he still didn't know i was deathly allergic to nuts.

LOL, sorry that is funny to me, guys can be so stupid.
I try to cover everything. I got my love a very nice card with an extra poem written by me in it, some flowers of a mixed arrangement, a heart shaped box of chocolates, a book I know she'll like and her favorite perfume. I thought of a teddy bear too but hopefully with a fire and a nice warm rug she'll want to cuddle with me.

I suspect many (many, many) more guys would rather just get "mouth whoopee"....
(don't get me wrong - I've treasured every little token that my special treats have ever given me... but honestly, as gifts go... well, let's just say that between the two, it's much easier for me to pick my own dandelions...
