Is anyone else finding that email contact takes very long to get a response and by that time the appointment time your looking for is not available or the day you wanted passed? I have everything connected to my phone and it’s hard to send text messages from my place and I’m at home all the time. I always do email for first contact so I know what rates and general information from the SP before I book anything. I don’t get why an email is posted and some never reply. Other than getting a “burner phone” and texting that way, I don’t understand why some SPs just never reply or reply way too late. I sent 3 emails within the week and only 1 got back to me. I find it difficult to even get info when this happens. Sorry for the rant it just sucks to see some don’t think good clients can from an email contact as the first contact.

When I started this hobby too I couldn't understand why they wouldn't respond.
They are no different than any other business. They are busy people and cannot be attached to their phone 24/7 especially with three or four customers booked consecutively during the day. If they are not responding for a couple days it's because they are not available or they already have a pretty solid clientele and they really don't need a lot of new customers.
You can't blame them for being a successful.

Although I somewhat agree with @usernametaken , I have to add that email doe not garner the priority it deserves with todays social structure.
Social governance is more prevalent in this profession, for obvious reasons, than business governance.

EDIT: This would probably be better discussed in the Lounge section. Just my thought on this.

I prefer email as well, but the best practice is to contact an SP via the method she suggests in her ads/social media/website. Some will only reply to texts so getting a pooning phone is kind of an essential these days.

I picked up a lady at the airport after she had been away for weekend. She had 300 emails waiting. That would have been a whole day of unpaid work to respond to each one.
I agree, however she could just as well have 300 texts waiting in queue.
If this is the problem, then perhaps the SP should drop their ad when they go away.

It is likely that if they are away for a week or more, there could be stacked demand for her services, which could result in a deluge of messages which have to be addressed.
Clients need to be aware of these logistics. It is easier to be upset that the SP is not getting back in a timely manner, and that in itself is the true problem. Impatience.

Don't forget the double or triple emails within the same 12h or less from initial inquiry 😭
Having breakfast at a hotel after overnighter. Lady gets text, doesn’t open it. Another 5 mins later. Doesn’t open it. Five minutes later the sender is on here posting what a bitch she is for not replying.

Society has deteriorated into an instant gratification model, where if you don’t immediately get what you want you throw a tantrum.

I’d much rather have to wait a day for a reply from a girl than have her looking at her phone during our time together. There have been lots of complaints in reviews about that over the years too.

We can’t have it both ways boys.

What I have seen with some SPs is that they have structured the session in a way that does not seem mechanical (but is), by sending the client into the shower first, this allows her time to check messages and line up her next client.
There are other ways the sessions are structured, but this thread is about client communications: ie emails.

E-mail is usually meant for screening and pre-booking days or weeks in advance. If you don't get a response it means that there's not enough screening information or she is unavailable. Every provider has her own preferences.

For relatively quicker responses or general details like rates etc., texts are much better. It's best to book ahead. In case of a delay, a respectful reminder after 5-6 days is acceptable. If you are looking for a same-day appointment, text is a better choice. If you still don't get a reply, it's obvious she's fully booked.

P.S. Some providers prefer e-mail or booking form for the first booking, but they have their rates on their website or ads.
