In case anyone has been living in a bubble and doesn't know, this Saturday is the municipal election.
If you are jaded by politics and think your vote doesn't mean anything, remember that decisions made at the municipal level are the ones most likely to affect you directly.
If you're not available to vote on Saturday, advance polls are open tonight until 8:00PM and Wednesday through Friday 8:00AM to 8:00PM.
The cool thing is that the city pretty much spoon feeds the information to you. All you have to do is spend about an hour reading the little booklet with all the candidates' profiles, and it's easy to cast an educated ballot.
Now get out and vote!
