DEAD bunny rabbit - A question

Ok this may sound like a dumb question but I was at the park with my dog earlier and she kept obsessing about something under a tree and going back to it.
It was kinda far from where I was sitting and the low branches on the tree made it impossible to see what she was looking for.
When I finally got up to leave, I realized what she'd been so obsessed about --- she had dug up and pulled out a dead bloody rabbit from under a tree.

k.. almost lost my lunch right there but that's besides the point.
What I'm wondering is what I'm supposed to do about the dead rabbit at the park?

Nothing? Leave it and someone will find it and dispose of it?
(What if it's a kid who finds in?! :( and my dog will go right back to it for sure next time we go there)
I'm not really liking either of those scenarios.... but I have no idea who/what to call?

Help!
Any suggestions? (I'm in Calgary btw... if that makes a difference on who to call..)

Bijou xx

PS: No suggestions that involve me touching, moving, going near or even looking at the dead rabbit cause that's NOT happening. Thanks.

you can try calling the city parks dept, easier to just walk away, leave it overnight and let the raccoons/skunks /coyotes deal with it. No muss no fuss.

Call the parks and rec or there is a number for disposing of dead animals looking for the number if I can't find it someone please post it.

I am pretty sure it is already gone by now parks here are pretty quick on shit like that here, ya know keep up a good rep and appearances.

In Calgary, call 311 - they will hook you up with the right department.

Are you sure its dead? Could it just be injured or unconcious and in a coma? I would quickly take it to animal emergency just in case.

If you're one who cleans up after her dog when on a walk in public, do the same thing with the dead rabbit as you do with the dog turds...just use a larger plastic bag.
