that is a major pathetic fail, sounds sooo fake! would have been way better if it said the girl cheated on him, in that it makes it look like they just met and dated for a few weeks, why buy such an expensive custom ring for that? totally fake of course
Actually trips bring out the worst in people. So I can buy that he decided that she was too high maintenance on a trip. He says he spent a year buying the diamond, having the ring custom made, etc. So dating more than a year.
I took a family member on a trip a few years ago. The complaining started in YVR airport. Every Restaurant was a travail, you never knew what would set them off. Every tour they were late, I began to look forward to them not making the tour because that meant that they wouldn't delay everyone at every stop and I wouldn't have to listen to then at every site, shop and restaurant.
I abandoned them after a week and left the reservations, tickets and some money for the remainder of the their trip. Life is too short to spend with "the entitled".
I really can't see anyone buying the ring. He obviously has anger issues and is himself an "entitled one". I wouldn't want to meet him and a "bespoke" ring that was meant for a specific person isn't worth what he spent on it.
