So, every province is basically dropping all Public Health Orders, and kids are flying off to exotic destinations for March Break.
What is everyones general comfort level? Especially when it comes to intimate contact and exchange of bodily fluids?
I'm still somewhat weary. Waiting to see what comes back when everyone returns from March Break.

The UK dropped most mandates some time ago, pretty much ahead of most other well vaccinated countries. The result is that as of now covid hospitalizations are climbing and if I am interpreting the numbers correctly are close to the third highest they have been since the first outbreak. That is out of context because it does not provide vaccination vs breakthrough data, age or pre existing condition data and so on.

But, it is a strong indicator that SARS2 is pretty much here to stay now and will exist in the community in the same way other coronavirus's do, ie colds, flu etc. So when and it is a when, you get a cold, flu, generally feel shitty, chances are even odds it is covid in some form or another.

One thing is certain, this pandemic has shown the need to recalibrate a LOT in the health services sector. Whether there is the will to do that remains to be seen.

That's quite enough public hand wringing. You can stay home or you can go out, but the days of this being a hot topic of conversation here are at an end. If you are vaccinated and still not participating, good for you and your abundance of caution, but this is not the place to seek advice on the advisability of seeing providers. Talk to your doctor if you are that worried.
