For those of you who are going to miss him, well it tells me the type of person you are .
I think it so truly very sad when an individual takes other's with him. He should have just done himself in and left his LITTLE BOY! and his wife to get on with their lives. it was pure selfishness.
I hope if what the news says that he killed his family he rots in hell!!
That child never asks to be born, or asks for such a short taste of life!
The crime is just horrendous!

Some of us knew him growing up and to us he was anything but a monster. This horrific tragedy is confusing for many and will be forever questioned by those who knew him from childhood. Theres no excuse and I think killers and suiciders are cowards but missing someone who was once a great human being and friend isn't indicative of them being a bad person. Know that.

Also, although not stated on the wwe site but found here http://www.mytelus.com/sports/article.do?pageID=sports_home&articleID=2711729, I've read that they found injection marks on the childs arms?? I guess the speculation was the parents injected him with steriods to beaf him up, because one of the Fragile X Syndromes' effects can be low muscle tone.

This just keeps getting more and more strange.

I still feel bad for Benoit as it is not 100 percent confirmed that the crime is committed by him. Maybe I am in denial but that wrestler was such a good person off and on camera. The dude took his time to sign my poster when I was a kid and recently stayed in Vancouver to Take photo with kids and talk to them. I am very surprised that not even a mention that a third party might be responsible for this act. Maybe they have solid evidence but indeed...A very confusing/sad story.

Yeah that must be the steroids causing your friend to become a different person when he gets drunk since he's apparently OK when he's not drinking and taking steroids. Myself, I've never know anyone to become different when they got drunk, and I'm sure nobody else has either ... alcohol can't possibly have any mind altering affect can it?

Nicer car, maybe, I have never been that into cars. As long as it runs and is comfortable it's all good. Nicer house, I doubt it. Younger then me, yeah, so with age comes the ability to control your anger and not get banned.

I read on another blog,
That a relative/neighbour of Benoit knew of this incident.

That Nancy smothered Dan with a bag.Benoit returns home to find this out and strangled his wife.Later,Benoit writes the incident and his apologies to family and friends on his final chapter in his book.He hung himself.

Now these police/sheriff say drugs were involved?

everybody vilifies the steroid use, but how many of you out there who are pointing that finger have ever used them? i'll say with conviction that steroids do not have the rage effect that so many think they do. yes, if you are an aggressive asshole normally steroids will make it worse, but you've never seen arnold strangle his wife or anybody else in hollywood have you? more than likely the painkillers that affect mood are playing a bigger part in this than the steroids.
