No matter how one feels about the US government, a politician such as her can display a bit more tact.

One of those make you proud to be Canadian, a few years ago on Canada Day turn my TV on to see what is happening in Ottawa, front and center, the lovely Sheila, wearing a short skirt, with those lovely legs spread as far apart as the skirt would allow

I guess she'll get elevated to patriotic CUNT when they shut down the border and no more beef, lumber or even BC's finest can get through!

All jokes aside I am amazed and shocked at how a party leader exercises zero leadership when all of our PM's have been known for their dictator like ability to make backbenchers and MP's tow the party line.

Butthead tell me you're being facetious and the name you've chosen is not fitting!

While I agree that tact is a missing commodity with some of our politicians, let us not forget that lots of prominent U.S officials have ripped us and interfered with our politics. Do the names Pat Buchanen and Paul Celluci ring any bells. as for Ms Parrish, while she apprears to be a nit-wit, are we in Canada not always complaining about the fact that back benches are useless, never open their mouths, tow the party line etc... Well here is one that speaks here mind and we rip her. Cant have you cake and eat it too. You either want people to speak up or not. As for her comments, such is the price of demoracy. Why are we such chicken-shits, when it comes to the U.S. anyway. Oooh nooo the scary U.S., we better not say anything. Give me a break.

Good for her....I'm going to write to her and praise her for someone who is speaking her mind.
Some minds are best left unspoken. She personifies the Liberal arrogance that was typical of the Chretien era, that is if you don't agree with my viewpoint you are an "idiot", "moron", or "bastard".

Ok, so I do agree that she can be over the top sometimes but as 'My Name is Mud' put it we do tend to be too 'hush, hush'. My nickname was a last minute rushed decision. My friend signed up as a member of PERB and he was rushing me to join.

Yeah, but they don't speak up on the issues that matter, do they? They will tell their constituents that they will fight against certain decisions being made by their own party, but then go to Parliament to vote in favor of that decision and then applaud the PM like the rest of the obedient monkeys.

There's nothing wrong with criticizing the government policies of your allies, as long as you don't resort to personal attacks against the entire citizenry of that country. It's called diplomacy. The American politicians such as Celluci have never made any personal attacks on any of Canada's politicians nor its people. But Parrish has displayed nothing but an attitude that is bordering on hatred for Americans.
