Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
Just wanted to wish you all a wonderful Canada Day Long Weekend.
What are your plans? Do you celebrate? Do you have any traditions or is it different every year?

For me its a long standing tradition.
Friends of mine who are actually even richer than Uncle Jed have a big ass 8 bedroom cottage with a separate guest house that sleeps 8. Every Canada Day they invite myself and few others out to their cottage for a big shaker. It is a ton of fun. Fishing, water skiing, tubing, Jet Ski's. Everybody chips in with the cooking and we have some fabulous meals. You name it they have it. All the kids are older now but when they were younger they would even rent a big bouncy castle. On Canada Day they throw a huge party and invite over 100 of their lake neighbours. Pig roast, booze, dancing and big fireworks display over the lake.
Heading out tomorrow around noon! :thumb:
The only downside is this year for the first time in 16 years my daughter won't be coming. She's ditching me for a canoe trip with her friends. Go figure! ;)

Cheers
J

No fireworks at Assiniboine Park this year, unbelievable.Fortunately there's lots of places to get heavy duty pyromaniac stuff.

I might burn my tarpaper shack down but I'll go out with a bang woohoo!

I'm singing O Canada for a Buddhist World Peace ceremony.

After the ceremony, likely family and dog time.....and hopefully some sexy fun time as well!

Be smart and Be safe. TO tonight. I’m now hyper vigilant in public crowds.
Especially near venues that attract media attention.
