Clear some messages! I hate it when someone asks me a question, I prepare a long detailed reply, hit send and it doesn't go through.

It's happened to me many times as well; however I have a helpful tip to avoid the inconvenience of losing everything you have typed.

Once you have finished typing the body of the message, highlight all of it and copy; that way even if the send fails you will still have a copy in the computer memory so when you go to retype, instead of reentering all the info, just hit paste.

You can also paste the text into word or notepad if you would like to use it at a later date.

Hope this helps :)

I do that also ... too many times you choose submit and an error occurs. I do that on my smart phone too where it is more work to retype.
Good suggestion for everyone.

Excellent idea but what happens if his wife hits paste the next day on the computer

sorry Bud and yes thx for the info.
there is no excuse for bad manners
I usually try to return a note of appreciation but somehow didn't this time.

As for this computer and typing stuff I am terrible at it, possibly because of my age group and lack of experience with it.
All I ask is for a little patients and understanding while I attempt to master this art.

thx.
