This is a non issue; anyone unable to figure out who they are voting for shouldn't count. If you are that stupid that you can not see the diff between 'Jim Green VV' and 'James Green indi.' why are you bothering to vote anyway?

But they counted Sullivan's moron votes. An equal number of sub-literate yahoos could easily have voted (and no doubt some did) for Sam Sullivan without confusion.

So, the playing field isn't level. Of course uneducated morons vote. No one's disputing that. But Jim Green lost some of his moron vote, while Sullivan kept all his. If there had been an indy named Samuel Sullivan it would've been equal.

Regardless of how you feel about it, democracy includes everyone, including the slack jawed troglodytes.

Jim Green can't do anything about it, because the media would paint him as a sore loser, but it's completely possible that the will of the voters didn't come through in this election because of the James Green confusion.

I voted NPA and for the spending for the reasons ghost mentions.

But really, it was a piss poor choice for mayor, I voted for Sam but it was with my nose held.
