After driving to Horseshoe Bay where do you leave your car?
I was wondering the same thing since all the parking is short term. Even the pay parking over by the Boathouse is limited and intended for their patrons.

Either take a West Van Blue Bus or drive over. The cost of a ferry negates what parking tickets may cost.

you can park at the bc ferries parking lot for $10 which gives you 6 hours

plenty for the day trip, $16 for 24 hours

walk on fare is $12.35 for adult, vehicle is $34.85 you pay on the horseshoe bay side and its free returning

there are 20 bed and breakfast facilities listed for bowen island,

its quite relaxing heading over on the ferry, day hiking on the island and there are numerous small restaurants you can partake in

never had a bad outing over there or not receive rave reviews from out of town guests I take over there

This week when I was in Vancouver I did notice looking outside my beautiful view at Pan Pacific, that your river was blue(ish) green. Here in Winnipeg its brown and gross.
That's glacier water, mixed with pure rain water......you get used to it when you've lived here after awhile.
Brown can be a very attractive and endearing colour.......it just depends on what palette it happens to be presented on.

That "river" outside the Pan Pacific is Burrard Inlet..a small part of the Pacific Ocean......

Your part of the world it probably is....our part of the world it's green scum from the rendering plant further up the Inlet.....you can get a good whiff of it around the Commercial/Powell area on a regular basis...

.....and people call me a red neck.....I was leaning more towards complimenting the young ladies skin colour.
And rendering plant green scum never would occur to me. I live in a place that a person can drink from any flowing water, as long as your not around any part of the human race, dumping whatever they used to own in the creek beds.
