It has that funky Spanish cuisine where the various meats are cut off of a roasting sword.

The variety of meats from buffalo, ostrich, venison to beef, pork and chicken IMHO makes it a delicious and interesting establishment to experience. (Sorry, got bored of plain beef steak)

Great choice. We had one of the early men's nights there. Pretty sure they don't have a patio though.

Samba is a Brazilian Steak house not Spanish. I agree the food is great and it is cool getting to sample a variety of meats rather than just one big slab of beef.

The BEST Steakhouse in Minneapolis is a place called "Murray's", the silver butterknife surloin is AAAAAmazing!!!!

Gotham without a doubt. They have the best filet mignon in town, great wine selection, their oysters are served with an awesome vinegaritte. The hostesses are usually incredibly sexy, the service is great but make sure they dont seat you upstairs. I'd also recomment having a few manhattans at the lounge before dinner.

Memphis Blues is on Broadway near Granville, right next door to Ana's Relaxing Therapy Center. They're more of a ribs and BBQ place. Haven't tried their steak.

Even though we are talking about Vancouver steak, after spending time in Banff I have to say the best stake house I have ever been to is the Saltlik. I was there four times having three different cuts of beef and one pork chop and I was never less then impressed. I haven't been to the Saltlik in Calgary but I hear they are planning on opening up one in Fort Mac.

I kinda like Hy's at Whistler massageseeker. It would make for a fine getaway. The downtown Vancouver location used to be a hip place to take chicks but now its mostly doddering rich old guys and their arm candy.

xxx_felicia and HeMadeMeDolt cured my panic attack when I didn't see people suggesting Gothams.

No, there's no patio. But if you want the best steak by far, and to be served by some incredibly hot women, then you have no choice but to choose Gothams.

Had a staff party there. Total cost at the end of the night? $12,480. Wheeee! Not my Visa thank god.

Maybe for desert : Watch a show at the Penthouse.. walk the strip to check out the girls onRichards.. sometimes girls will go into Kitten Theatre for BJ .. but I will probably continue to move since I like the rush of looking at lineups... maybe hit Kits..strip .. possible Uranus visit ..

The last few times I needed a cold shower.. as I drove home thru Burnaby / New West the numbers list got low .. and as you leave Vancouver you think shyat I will find something .. then its too late and you wished you were still in the city .. O 'well this time I want to be ready ..

IMOHO, the New York cut (most flavour) and all the side dishes are best at Gotham over Joe F's or The Keg.

I haven't been to Morton's here, but the Mortons in Vegas, LA and Palm Springs are even better, so that is worth a try as well (the Porterhouse is huge, but you get both the NY and Filet Mignon cuts).

I also have not been to Kobe here, and while the other Kobes that I have been to are good, they do not compare to Mortons.

Finally, the veal Osso-Buco over rissoto and the Tenderloin at Cin-Cins are both awesome and I love the ambience and decor there, including the patio. It's a great choice for more variety.
