the word 'auntie' on this board seems to have a slightly pejorative connotation.
perhaps a re-thinking is in order?

consider a HOT 29-year-old woman who happens to have a 4-year-old kid. she's very very desirable, so she's a 'MILF'.

now, the sister of the mother is the aunt. she doesn't have any kids of her own however, so she can't be termed a MILF. this auntie could be older or younger.
presumably, the auntie has spent her time - time that would otherwise be devoted to raising kids - collecting a wide range of sexual experiences with a variety of men.

the MILF can change a poopy diaper in 30 seconds with one hand, baby on top of a costco shopping cart.
the auntie has developed a somewhat different skill set.

People who have 'honourary' female relatives often call them 'Auntie Joan' as a term of familiar endearment.

i'm often referred to as 'uncle' by friends' families, especially by the kids.
its an affectionate and appropriate term, even if 'eccentric' is sometimes added to explain some of my lifestyle choices.
