My advice is to get which one you like.
As for reliability, check consumers reports and the forums.
But remember they all should have at least 4 years bumper to bumper manufacturers warranty. Some manufacturers (I think BMW does) includes free maintenance for the 4 years too, so you will pay nothing. Check into that as well.
Check the US as you may save thousands by buying it there, but make sure the warranty will be honoured in Canada, and find out what modifications you will need to make. This can potentially eat into the savings you make by importing it and at the end of the day it may not be worth it....again, it depends on the model.
