Maybe one of us should submit definition no. 14 for "pooner".

It surely does come from "poontang", but "pooner" and "pooning" seem to be exclusive to escort review boards in Western Canada. I first came across it on Canbest a few years ago. I'd never heard it before.

I Googled the word "pooner", and only 2 of the first 50 hits were this meaning, and both were links to PERB posts.

I have no use for the guy. He portrays his show as an 'open line' kind of show to bring out the facts but he overmanages the dialogue/monolgue to the point that it is insulting to anyone who is interested in hearing other peoples reasonable ideas in an open forum!

You're exactly right logsplitter. I don't agree with his politics but that's not what I don't like about him. Its precisely the fact that he doesn't allow for an open exchange of ideas on his show. Frankly, the Perb lounge is a better place for open debate and informed exchange of views that Adler's show.
