With 2010 on the near horizon, it leads one to ponder what Vancouver will be like for us…The Customer.

With the news coverage on the Vancouver Sex Trade: Legal Brothels owned by Escorts, The Government making claims about tight security at the Border will reduce the influx…etc..

How do you think the 2101 Olympic Farce will affect us?

I voted - Everything would stay the same

I am thinking if you have been seeing a regular, sure she may increase her prices, but knowing you will be around long after the Olympics, I would hope the repeat customer gets to have the same rates. The only concern would be possibly too booked up to see her, but once again if you make appointments, I would think she would keep you satisfied.

Not living in Vancouver I would be concerned your favs might take a trip out there to work during the Olympics. That would be sad!

I wonder how many of the gails from Alberta are planing on being here for 2010?

The sad part for the guys in Alberta, the girls may never want to go back once they see how nice it is here..:D

Lucky us.:)

well right now it is more the reverse situation happening.. maybe girls don't go to stay but..

well, who knows. they have it pretty good out there, they might not even be much tempted at all..

personally, i don't think it will make all that much of a difference for anyone.. but hey, just IMO.

There may be an influx of providers from other provinces and countries. Craigslist will be very busy in 2010.
That's my thoughts too. craigslist seems to have take the pooning world by storm. Anyone with a computer can list themselves even for a day or two.

Historically anything could happen. For some of these major events, too many girls moved in and prices actually dropped significantly.

My best guess, based on what's happened in the past, is that prices drop leading up to the event as more girls move in before the tourists all show up. Then prices skyrocket during the event itself when everyone hits town, and then drop quite low afterwards as a significant portion of the girls stay in town for a while. Then as the months go by, people realize that there's no money to be made and they move on, so the market eventually moves back to normal.

But every case is different so only time will tell!
