Isn't your maxwest neo flip a 4g phone? If it is, I think holding off on getting a new one is the right call.

I don't think that speakout has the 4g network running yet. When/if they do, you probably need to port your number to the new SIM card. It is probably the same procedure as if you had lost your phone/SIM card. Hope they will provide some clear instructions. Fingers crossed.

Per oprime's post, if you're planning to stick with speakout and choose option 2, you should pick up their migration SIM card and ensure that your phone is volte compatible. I tried to get the migration SIM card, but the 711 staff did not know anything about it, so I will try again later.

If you bought the phone from a Canadian store, and it supports volte, I think you can still stay on the speakout talk and text plan that doesn't expire for 365 days. I am no tech wizard, but from what I have read, it sounds like this 3g shutdown only affects those with 3g and older phones...
