Just replying to the initial poster, since obviously I missed some drama to jump in the middle of.
I remember lurking in early 2020's like 2022-2024 and the reviews and post were posted a bunch per day.
I feel like now reviews have slowed down by alot. Do you think its more of a finanical thing? People just don't have the funds to do it as often anymore? I guess prices going up too don't help.
Yes, it's the economy.... that's usually the main motivating factor in anything, even the sex-trade.
I don't think it's because clients don't have the money.... it's the other way around, providers are over-compensating in a failing economy.... As someone pointed out, that the Asian-Market is sustaning because the low rates they offer in that diluted branch of the market... Clients have no problem shelling out $200 for basic service, proving the money is THERE... but when asking for $400 or more for equally basic service?..."Ladies, what's up?"... .. but the point I'm making is,... I believe certain providers haven't come to the conclusion to lower their standards yet. So it's not for me being critical, it's just in this point in time, they're not desperate enough to adjust themselves to the new market.
*And please, speaking to individual providers individually... you can still do you, charge what you want... it's not for me personally to dictate what you do... but y'know, such 'forces in the market' will say otherwise, which is my point.....
We are in a recession. And the funny thing about being in a recession is that most think their standard of living is still feasible if certain adjustments are made.
It's a confusing time because everyone all around still deluding ourselves that things will get better, so we hold on to what we can to our preferred standard of living, thinking we can still afford our comfy lives with a few more sacrifices here and there. Working longer hours, taking a second or third job, stop buying Starbucks and brew your own coffee at home; got to buy last year model iPhone instead of the latest one....But for providers, I'd imagine they'd be sinking deeper into their craft to make ends meet; at first they were picking and choosing what they're willing to do for that extra money, then suddenly 'restrictions' become less restrictive..."Low Volume Providing" become more frequent.. "VIP clients only" become "non-judgemental"... "CBJ only", become "BBBJ"...MOD EDIT OF UNACCEPTABLE CONTENT.
I'm sure providers reading that is scoffing at me for suggesting it because they might have a secure B-plan in place. There are some who moonlight in the trade to supplement their income aside from their main real-world so-called "project manager" job. But once AI does away with that occupation, you know they'll rely more on their 'other' skills if they have to...That all said,
"are they/we 'there' yet?"... No,...
Right now, we're still at the delusion phase of a recession, upping the cost of everything so they can stay in their fancy condos, city-chic lifestyles and maybe afford one trip to Seychelles once a year instead of three; unwilling to let go and lower their standards, yet... They'll keep jacking up the price, until no one can pay... Then it's the Asians Aunties getting all the work,...
Now if we were in a depression, then 'all bets are off' and we're back in the 1800's where women are giving up all the goods for a single dollar-coin at the saloons...that is, if anyone is making those dollar-coins as AI would've taken their jobs too...
So as of right NOW, Providers aren't desperate enough to balance the market...they charge, someone pays, and if someone keeps paying there's no incentive to lower themselves to meet the new market. Eventually, when that desperation sinks in, they'll have to compete with the Asian Aunties' rates...or they just walk away from the trade altogether....

...all the talent we hope for on the 'streets', are usually in their bedrooms in front of a webcam, doing the Only Fans and Chaturbate gig, trying to rope in every SIMP on the planet to give up digital pennies from around the world, than sell themselves for an hourly flat rate doing the actual deed...I mean, what $300-$400 for bad sex with someone you'd normally never be with outside the transaction? Or try to get 10,000 third-worlders with rupees to spend on enough tokens to convince the webcam-girl to take off the bra, then jiggle them around for 30 mins until someone else ponies up the GDP of some nameless shithole country to see the panties gone. But again, AI is creeping up on that specific branch of the sex trade too once more AI centers are built taking up all the water and energy making AI-slop videos of impossibly sexy women doing 'things' a real sexy woman wouldn't do in reality under any ethical standards...."but are we 'there' yet?"... No, but certainly this is the calm before the storm that could up-end that industry right soon to the point, again, we're back in the 1800s where the cam-girl will have to jiggle them at the saloons.
