Black Heads, White Heads, ingrown hairs.... seems to be lots of videos on these... removal, kinda gross, but fascinating to watch...

I seen several where the outbreak was severe, and wonder how it got to that point.

The answer I think comes from where the vid is made (far east). There I would guess there is not much water for immediate hygiene (washing with soap and water), the other is how hot and humid a country is (people sweat more)...

Nope this time its removing oil buildup from your skin... soap and water were good enough once...now its specialized solutions...
but I did comment about the availability of hygiene in various parts of the world...

Haha what a topic. Yeah, I’d say a lot of it is in countries with high humidity but at the same time these countries like Korea are all obsessed with skincare so I don’t know!

There's a lot of people who don't take care of themselves out there. Many of these videos show cysts and dilated pores that have been growing for years. They show up in my feed occasionally but I try to hit not interested or block so I keep the gross out factor down.

Coincidentally Dr Lee was a speaker at a conference my gf attended.
A lot of her patients are people who have been bounced around by the horrible medical systems in the states, and are in dire straits. I admire her for helping them, when nobody else cares.
Dr Lee had a stroke a few months ago, during the filming of an episode. She seems to be back to normal now.

Gotta be careful watching these on sm because if you watch one, the algorithm targets you and it's all you get.
It got so bad for me that I even started being sent cattle hoof zit popping videos (which are a weirdly calming thing to watch).

Wouldn't say 'fascinating', but there is some kind of cathartic endorphin rush added to it too. *I'm sure there is a psychological phrase used for it...can't remember what it is.

I mean, we've all had that nasty pimple at one time where is felt like it was wrapped around a nerve, and it was deep in the skin, and you had to pop it for some kind of relief from the pain it was causing you... and now seeing that pimple-popping on a video, you can't help but relate to that relief the person is feeling... so we become attracted to that kind of scene, because of how we associate ourselves to it.
