Born in Trail, British Columbia, Canada in 1959. The third of four children of radical parents. My father was the first practicing anesthesiologist in Canada with polio, as far as I know. My mother, and able-bodied nurse, very open-minded, creative [with just a pinch of crazy at times], rebel. When I came along with Cerebral Palsy, a physical disability,a condition which is only slowed me down, never stopped me. The stage was set for a unique life. Time to Break the Rules!

While I love technology, Web design and computer repair, I am deeply aware of being human and all it entails. Intimacy, touch and literally the "Art of loving" are tremendously important. These are aspects of life which I feel are often marginalized, if not outright ignored by modern society. Which would like everyone to be focused on only the material things. North America in particular seems to have a very limited, at times infantile, view of sexuality. There is so much more! And everyone should have access to great sex regardless of what that is to them. This most definitely includes anyone with a disability be it physical or mental. So, I am most definitely an activist for human rights, sex, and dignity.
I am involved with a grass-roots group in Vancouver Canada "Equitable Access To Sexual Expression" [EASE)Canada which supports the safe exploration and expression of sexuality and other intimate connections for persons with disabilities. Here's the Face Book page.
