I understand cancelling the appointment due to his rhetoric if it made you feel uncomfortable, but keeping the deposit is a really gross move. If this was any other service/product people would rightly be angry about what many would feel like theft, it's not right. At least that's just my opinion

So I made an account to point this out, does anyone else find this disturbing, whether for good or bad clients some SP have been giving information to this guy and maybe to someone else. I hope I'm not the only one who caught this in his comment.
