I just got ripped off this morning.

He is a tall white guy, lean, bald (shaved head), goatee. 2 small tattoos, one of a lady bug on the back of his shoulder and another of a red maple leaf on his chest. He said his name is Richard and he is currently training for the Red Deer fire dept.

My own fault for having faith in humanity and not getting money up front. If any of you girls see him, make sure to ask for $$ up front. And if any of you guys know him... give him a punch in the nuts for me!

Annalise, I am not too sure why some guys are so hung up between paying up front, vs afterwards. It really makes no difference as the end result is that they got to pay sometime if they are staying.

I feel sorry for you as you been ripped off, and by what i have read you are a quality lady that treats men well

I think you ladies should think about this, and realize that what this scum bag did to Lilith is no different than the millions of times the ladies take our money with a smile and then deliver almost ZILTCH

men get robbed daily in this so called arrangement with the ladies lack luster performance (thank god there are some good ones out there)

Unfortunately what happened to Lilith has happened to most SPs who have been in the buisness for awhile. Just one of the cons to the buisness.


I don't know if there's really any clear cut answer on what a girl should do. Maybe ask a first time client for the money straight up and then after he becomes a regular leave it until the end.
Most guys probably wouldn't have a problem with this, but there are some who might take offense to it and decide not to stay.

Then again as Wickedwille suggested, there's those clients who have been asked to pay up front (me included), only to discover that once the SP has your money she decides everything that was previously agreed on is off the table and she is in a hurry to get things over with and you out the door. Hopefully this doesn't happen too often, but it does.

Maybe the answer if for an SP to ask for at least half the fee up front and the balance at the end. This way the girl gets at least something if the guy skips out, and it also protects the client because now the SP has an incentive to provide a decent session.

To strike a balance. . .

I think an SP should be able to ask at least 50 to 75 per cent of the total agreed fees up front - the rest at the end of the session (something like a withholding amount (or holdbacks) to ensure that the "contractor" lives up to her part of the "contract", so to speak).

This way, it will reduce the risks for both parties - the SP has less money to lose if the client decides to bolt after the session and a client who feels that he was ripped off by poor service/attitude etc. at least gets a "discount" off his session.

The use of holdbacks is a common practice between contractors and their clients.

Paying Up Front

I will pay up front if requested..... I haven't found that it regularly affects mileage.....

After the first appointment there is no need to pay up front.... but again, I am smart enough to recognize that the girl might need to feel comfortable also.

I am curious Lilith..... did dude, sneak out, or walk past you or just thumb his nose at your request for $$$$ or did he tell you he forgot his wallet or just didn't have money?

Obviously a classless act no matter what.

I honestly don't have a problem paying upfront.... but I'm also taking my cue from the experiences i've read on these forums of guys being asked to pay upfront and it usually (if not almost always) being the sign of a bad session

maybe I'm lucky that I seem trustworthy - but I've only been asked to pay upfront once and it was infact the one time it turned out to be 'a bit of a letdown' ....go figure.

I think if its your first time with a client or the first time the client's been to the studio you should definitely ask upfront... after that if he pays up you should give him the benefit of the doubt.. that's all I'm saying...

I gladly pay up front if the SP requests it. I have had a few nasty sessions, but tend to be pretty lucky with my choices. And I live by the golden rule, treat your SP with the utmost respect and dignity and she will often be very kind in return. Sometimes I think I am too nice.

As for the looser that bailed without paying, wow... just plain wow. Not sure how someone could be such a butt hole.

This is one Richard who ALWAYS pays.
