So, yesterday in the New York Post they reviewed a book I wrote a part of. It's pretty funny as the article goes on they basically only talk about my part. Oops. Lol. I wasn't trying to be awful, just honest. They begged me to write it for a few months and I always said no, that I didn't want anything to do with it. Then the publisher contacted me directly and asked me to do it as a personal favor. I figured since my own book is nearly done, I should do it since I may be able to ask her to return the favor. I wasn't sure why they wanted me to rite it, I'm still not, but the article is pretty funny. It has some really great photos too. I would live to hear what you think.

Have thought there probably would be a market for a series 'Courtesans of Vancouver' with collections of erotic stories (based on actual encounters) by many of the fine ladies in this city.

while I haven't met the man, I have been to the Bunny Ranch and have followed, via twitter, some of the working girls there and they rarely have good things to say when leaving the ranches.
and the fact that Hof owns those places is a factor on why I'd probably never go back if I was in the region.

what you say and others say about Hof doesn't surprise me in the least.

You don't understand. It's not because omg he's so hot. Lol. It's that he's the boss. He can put you on the top of the web page, he can direct all the best clients towards you, he can tell HBO to make you the star of the show, he can put you on Howard Stern and any number of other shows. And he's a cheap ass, so it's not about his money at all, because even living together 3 years I never saw a dime of his money. But he can help you make a lot of your own. It's all finances and validation. Every girl wants Dennis to like her because then she's "more special". It's nothing to do with looks or money... it's psychology. I mean, c'mon, you know all this already. You don't litterally think someone looks at him and goes wow you're so hot! People, for some strange reason, view " celebrities " per say, as having the " glamourous " lifestyle that everyone would love to have. Sadly, they only see a small part of it that the media projects. I think, most are screwed up with issues and DON'T have a happy / normal life.

wow.....which board am I on anyways...this is the second time Ive logged on here recently to find almost the entire front page clogged with threads started by the same provider, only this time she's bringing a lot of the same threads back from the graveyard....its basically spamming and it sort of reeks of desperation. Advertisers have privileges true, but perhaps it might be better to use a more subtle approach than hitting your potential clients over the head with a sledgehammer.

As a SP who has also taken a lot of heat over how I often I post in the Lounge, I'd like to point out that the Lounge was DEAD for months last year. There were days when I'd check in and see a total of FOUR active threads, and most of the interaction was bitchy women arguing with grumpy men.

Cami, myself and a few others have worked very hard to build up positive interaction and participation on perb, and that benefits everyone - Fred, advertisers, reviewers and other members. Our stats are way up and we've had more activity than terb many days over the last month. More Red ladies are posting in the Lounge, and lots of inactive members have started posting again.

Let's keep having fun while we entertain the masses!

I've never met Cami (and am unlikely to at her price point) and so am watching this from a distance.
However, I didn't interpret this as necessarily desperation (or advertising). I saw it more as someone who had some time on her hands and enjoys the interaction and banter that takes place on the board. And if she is up early and is going through threads responding to comments others have made (some in response to her), it would appear that she is flooding the board. This is simply a function of the paucity of other comments and responses at the time. By later in the day it won't look like she is dominating the board in the same way.

I'm not trying to be a white knight, but methinks you are reading too much into this.

I am glad your stats are up. However having been on this board since its inception despite all the turmoil and twists and turns its taken over the decade plus, Ive never seen anyone blatantly spam the board with resurrected threads like that and cover much of the front page with them.

Whether spamming like this should be allowed or not is up to Fred and the Mods. It annoys the fuck out of me but its their call not mine. I am merely bringing what I believe to be an unsavory business practice and abuse of board privilege to their attention and also to the OPs that this may not be having the positive effect she thinks it has.

I respect your right to be irritated, and admit that I was also taken aback on the day when Cami first really spammed the Lounge.

perb's stats are up. I compared terb to perb stats earlier this morning: terb - 138,000+ members, 1,135 people online, 109 viewing their Lounge. perb - 78,000+ members, 1,980 people online, 94 viewing our Lounge, and our numbers have been higher than terb's for most of the last month.

I watch most of the boards across Canada and WE are now the busiest board when it comes to reading audience and Lounge participation. That means everyone's ads and reviews get more views, the board prospers and we all live happily ever after ... and our Lounge is busy because we're having fun, not because we're full of drama threads.

To be honest, I don't agree with a lot of Cami's opinions, but I respect her as a person. She might irritate a few dozen or even a few hundred members by posting so much, but she makes dreams come true for many thousands by participating here. I'm sure every board in Canda would love to have a Reality TV and porn star posting and interacting with their members.

Some of us participate here a lot because this is our social media, and this is where our friends hang out, not because we need to drum up business.

It's always interesting to read a story like Cami's which identifies people who have no remorse about taking advantage of others. Then they rationalize by self promoting what they did to "help" the people manipulated for their own personal gain.
I also cannot figure out why there are negative responses in this thread to someone voicing an opinion.

That was my point Cami.. you wouldnt have given the guy the time of day if he was just some average joe working as an insurance salesman fot example. Basically you were with him for financial gain is what you are saying. The situation doesnt really fit the term of a girlfriend type relationship does it? Kinda sounds like sex for financial gain which essentially is just more prostitution. Hard to beleive you didnt t know he was a goof going into the situation which means you kinda allowed yourself to be treated like shit by the guy for money. I think.thats why a lot of people are ripping you on this board. Hard to feel sorry for someone who willingly puts themselves into a bad situation.
