I just found out that there is a fake facebook account of me in the interweb
how do I go about shutting it down

this person added my a few of my friends I dont really talk to any more
I am just wondering what might have been said or started

I dont use facebook, so when a close friend of mine saw that I had an account
he alerted me.

can I email facebook and tell them that account is fake?
